TEbMP - the Test of English for bioMedical Purposes - is a fair and valid assessment of a person's ability to use the English language effectively within a biomedical context. TEbMP has been developed in collaboration with colleagues in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. While there are a number of very good tools for assessing ability in general English, TEbMP is the only internationally validated test for measuring communicative competence in the languages of biomedicine and health.
