The Centre for Biomedical and Health Linguistics is a non-profit collaboration dedicated to facilitating communicative competence in the languages of biomedicine and health. This is achieved by conducting quantitative and qualitative research into our shared languages, and by applying the findings of research to the development of language resources. Members of this collaboration include academics in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. Please feel free to use our open-access learning resources and to read our research reports.
The activities of the Centre have been supported by a number of grants to develop infrastructure and to conduct specific studies.
